Situated In Laugarbakki Village, just off Route 1 (only a 3 min. drive), but still far enough from traffic for you to enjoy beautiful nature and the peace and tranquility of the countryside. Right next to Hotel Laugarbakki is one of Iceland´s best salmon rivers, Miðfjarðará. A cozy restaurant, nice lounge, good wines, outdoor hot-tubs and good wi-fi makes Hotel Laugarbakki a perfect stay. The hotel has also good conference center and meeting rooms.
During winter, the northern lights are the best here.
