Svartaborg could not be better located when it comes to sights in the north of Iclenad. Husavík is a 20 min drive with world renowned Whale Whatching and the Geosea baths. Goðafoss waterfall is reached within 10 min. Akureyri, the capital of the north is only a 30 min drive, Lake Myvatn with all its natural wonders is a mere 40 min drive, so in fact we are in the middle of the Diamond Circle. Dettifoss, the most powerful waterfall in Europe and Ásbyrgi also make for a perfect day-trip. Even closer by are endless hiking locations, swimming, horseriding, golf, fishing,skiing and many other activities available.
