All of the above is computed from Dogsledding Iceland's own 1 product records, not from a questionnaire. Fleet size and typical group sizes are the figures a comparison table usually shows; Bókun does not carry them, so we would be guessing, and we would rather leave a gap than fill it in.

Our first ever dog sledding experience on dry land in Icelandic summer and it absolutely did not disappoint 🐾 If you’re a dog lover, this is pure happiness on wheels. The huskies were unbelievably fluffy, sweet, and clearly thrilled to be running. The guides were warm, fun, and generous with stories about the dogs, the landscape, and life in Iceland. The ride itself felt like a little adventure through endless purple lupine fields, alongside a glistening river, with views of Eyjafjallajökull and Katla the distance. Pro tip: bring sunglasses or ski goggles to protect your eyes—dust, sand, and gravel kick up as the dogs sprint ahead! Best of all, we got plenty of time to cuddle, pet, and play with the dogs before and after the ride. An unforgettable, wag-filled Icelandic memory❤️.

This was the highlight of our visit to iceland. The dogs are extreamly well looked after and loved. You can see they enjoy what they do. Beware it's the coldest you will ever feel so wrap up extreamly worm and wear the googles and suits offered.

A fantastic trip very highly recommended, the dogs are so friendly, we visited during summer so on a wheeled sled. So fast, unbelievable to see them drink as they raced through puddles. You can see that Klara loves all her dogs. You also get to see some brilliant countryside. And yes, you really cannot resist giving all the dogs a cuddle and you get loads of time for photos. If in Iceland I would add it to the “must see” list

amazing service, the dogs are so cute! Honestly amazing if you’re coming to Iceland for the first time, you just can’t miss this! There is both in summer and winter, only on weekdays and you just send and email to book a tour, definitely 5 stars.

Questions about booking Dogsledding Iceland

Is it cheaper to book Dogsledding Iceland directly?

No. We sell Dogsledding Iceland's tours at the price they set, through their own booking system, so the seat costs the same here as on their site. What you get here in addition is one checkout for every tour in your trip, whoever runs it, and one place to turn if plans change.

Does Dogsledding Iceland pick up from hotels?

1 of their 1 tours include a pickup service. Each tour page says which, and pickup is chosen at checkout.

Where do Dogsledding Iceland tours start?

Their departures we sell start from Mosfellsdalur. Check the map on each tour page for the exact meeting point.

Which languages are Dogsledding Iceland tours guided in?

Their tours are guided in English and French, according to their own product records. Where a tour is audio-guided rather than led by a person, the tour page says so.

Is there a minimum age on Dogsledding Iceland tours?

Yes, on 1 of their 1 tours, the lowest being 6. The rest set no minimum. The planner filters by your youngest traveller if you give it ages.

How is Dogsledding Iceland rated?

4.8 out of 5 on Google from 73 reviews of the company. That is the operator's score, not a rating of any one tour; our own guests' reviews of their tours, where we have them, are shown on this page and on the tour pages.

Not sure which of these fits your dates? The planner checks real departures and builds the day around them.
