“The Penis Museum is the only one of it's kind in the world and in 2023 it was the most visited museum in Iceland. We are not only unique as a museum, we also offer unique penis waffles and penis themed beers and drinks at our Phallic Café & Bistro.”

All of the above is computed from Phallological museum's own 1 product records, not from a questionnaire. Fleet size and typical group sizes are the figures a comparison table usually shows; Bókun does not carry them, so we would be guessing, and we would rather leave a gap than fill it in.

From the operator's own Bókun vendor record. The year is when the company's registration number was issued, which is the closest thing to a founding date that can be checked at skatturinn.is; the brand may be older or younger than the company. Their own site: phallus.is — same price there as here.

I really enjoyed my time here. I love seeing geeks talk so deeply about the topic they are passionate about. Very cool museum.
Learning about all sorts of facts about mating habits of animals was very interesting. Reading some things about the exibits reminds you that men are animals just like any other, even though we like to believe we are evolved. There are definitely some pxnis owners that act like animals, seals for example!
Worth it.
We spent approximately 2 hours there.
We didn't try the little bistro, but I did see gluten-free and vegan options.

Quirky, funny and educational if you choose to read everything available.
We bought a drink and spent approx 30 minutes viewing the exhibits. At some point it does become just a wee bit too much - penises are everywhere.
The gift shop had some interesting items but nothing that ended up in my suitcase for friends/family.

Only museum of its kind in the world. There were over 300 specimens and it was an interesting way to spend our first day in Iceland. The museum was smaller than I expected, but overall fun experience

Unfortunately, the museum is accessed by a flight of stairs. If you are unable to use stairs, you may want to contact the museum to see if there is an alternative entrance that we couldn't see.
There are lots of reviews saying that this museum is overpriced but it really isn't! This place is a shrine to the penis and all its many forms ❤️ Apart from the anatomy, there is art and design, crafts, folklore, practical uses and penis donations. Every turn in this museum reveals something new, informative and surprising. If you want to see a plaster cast of Jimmy Hendrix's cock - this is the place!
All of this and there is a brilliant bar, cafe and gift shop.
