All of the above is computed from Southcoast Adventure's own 30 product records, not from a questionnaire. Fleet size and typical group sizes are the figures a comparison table usually shows; Bókun does not carry them, so we would be guessing, and we would rather leave a gap than fill it in.

The super jeep tour in Thorsmörck delivered exactly what was promised and was worth every penny. Our guide, Jakob, was fantastic—super nice, easy to talk to, and he made the hours pass by so quickly. The lunch provided was also delicious. Thank you for a memorable day!

We did the 5hr buggy buggy tour today, by far the best day in Iceland so far. Alejandro was an absolute amazing guide, seen waterfalls, caves, and a glacier that we would have never seen otherwise. Alejandro also took us on an incredible hike to one of the falls. He’s knowledge of the area was superb. Highly recommended over all the other tours.

Absolute number 1 excursion we have ever done!
Our Eyjafjallajökull Snowmobiling Tour with Southcoast Adventures was an absolute highlight of our trip to Iceland—and we travel a lot! We spent about 2 hours on the snowmobiles and covered a huge portion of the glacier. Riding all the way to the top to experience the intense wind and the breathtaking views was unforgettable.
Our guides, Ale and Martin, were phenomenal. Ale was incredibly patient and helpful while teaching us how to operate the machines. Even when we managed to tip our snowmobile over, they handled it perfectly. Their attitudes throughout the entire tour were tremendous. This truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime outing. I cannot recommend this adventure and this team highly enough!

We’ve been coming to Iceland for years, and this was hands down the best experience/tour we’ve ever done here.
Our snowmobiling tour with Magnús and Steinar was incredible from start to finish. They were fun, kind, knowledgeable, and clearly true experts at what they do. This was our first time snowmobiling, and they made us feel completely comfortable while still making the whole experience exciting and memorable.
The location was awesome, the views were breathtaking, and we were lucky to have great weather. But what really made the tour special was Magnús and Steinar. We had so much actual time on the snowmobiles, learned a lot about Iceland, and genuinely enjoyed the conversations along the way.
You can tell when guides love what they do and care about giving people a great experience. This was our first snowmobiling tour, but it definitely will not be our last.
Huge thank you to Magnús and Steinar!!!

Our guides that weigh up Southcoast Adventure
Where we compare their tours with the alternatives — including when we say to book someone else.
Is it cheaper to book Southcoast Adventure directly?+
No. We sell Southcoast Adventure's tours at the price they set, through their own booking system, so the seat costs the same here as on their site. What you get here in addition is one checkout for every tour in your trip, whoever runs it, and one place to turn if plans change.
Does Southcoast Adventure pick up from hotels?+
17 of their 30 tours include a pickup service; the rest start at a meeting point. Each tour page says which, and pickup is chosen at checkout.
What is Southcoast Adventure's cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 2 days before the start on their most flexible tours; the strictest is 24 hours. The exact window is printed on every tour page and in your confirmation, and a refund goes back to the card you paid with.
Where do Southcoast Adventure tours start?+
Their departures we sell start from Hvolsvöllur, Vik, Reykjanes, Hella. Check the map on each tour page for the exact meeting point.
Which languages are Southcoast Adventure tours guided in?+
Their tours are guided in English and Icelandic, according to their own product records. Where a tour is audio-guided rather than led by a person, the tour page says so.
Is there a minimum age on Southcoast Adventure tours?+
Yes, on 21 of their 30 tours, the lowest being 1. The rest set no minimum. The planner filters by your youngest traveller if you give it ages.
How is Southcoast Adventure rated?+
4.7 out of 5 on Google from 300 reviews of the company. That is the operator's score, not a rating of any one tour; our own guests' reviews of their tours, where we have them, are shown on this page and on the tour pages.
Not sure which of these fits your dates? The planner checks real departures and builds the day around them.
