About Hotel Vatnsholt
The Country Hotel Vatnsholt is a gorgeous newly renovated guesthouse, set in 230 acres of farm land, beautifully located in the relaxing countryside „east of the mountain,” i.e. conveniently close to Reykjavík (the capital) and only a stone’s throw from Selfoss, the largest city in the surroundings of Reykjavík.
The residence is a former working farm with its adjoining animal housing, horse stalls and barns, all of which have been carefully converted with all the most contemporary state of the art facilities and luxury. A strikingly beautiful renovation of which we are very proud.
Vatnsholt offers quality accommodation in several different categories for up to 77 guests, 34 cozy rooms in total with comfortable beds and linens and either baths or showers.
